Ed Ringer a.k.a Noddy Holder
Lead Vocals & Guitar (2000-2006, 2007-present)

Ed's first album was Slade Alive and he gets a real buzz out of letting rip on "Get Down & Get With It". When he first met Don Powell, Don made his day, "Here Dave, take a look, he looks just like Nod!" In December 2005 Ed's voice featured on a worldwide hit (number 1 in New Zealand, number 5 in the UK), but he's deeply ashamed of the record itself.
At the end of April 2006, Ed temporarily retired from his role as lead singer
to run a free-range sideburn farm in the Cotswolds. However following a comeback
a year later he's decided he'd much rather come out into the real world to shout at people.
